What is NEO?
NEO is a new building system that’s revolutionising how home extensions are built – quicker, cleaner and more thermally efficient than a traditional build. NEO is made using Ultrapanel technology which was invented by Ultraframe, the Conservatory experts. These NEO panels are made from higher performance insulation, steel and timber and are pre-manufactured in the NEO factory to slash the build time on site.
What makes it a NEO build?
A NEO build is where NEO walls are integrated with one of the NEO roofing systems – the NEO panels are fixed together to form an i-beam structure that is much stronger than traditional builds. As a NEO build, what sets it apart is the time to build. Once your NEO extension arrives, it can be erected and watertight within two days. Building with NEO does not need good weather, so your project will always be delivered on time.
Who makes NEO?
Ultraframe ltd manufacture NEO. Ultraframe have been pre-manufacturing roofs for conservatories and home extensions for over 30 years. Their engineer to order processes, expertise and software means they are ideally placed to pre-manufacture bespoke building on a mass scale.
Is NEO made in Britain?
Yes – all NEO products are engineered to your specifications in the NEO factory in Lancashire. This factory has evolved into a technologically advanced factory over the last 30 years and we’re proud of our Lancashire roots and our expert local team.
What makes Neo quicker?
The NEO panels are cut to size in the NEO factory and are quickly fixed together on site to form the roof and the walls. There is no cutting or cement required on site, so erecting a wall takes minutes rather than days. Ultraframe are experts in roof design too and pride themselves on quick fitting times, so you can rest assured that every NEO roof has been designed to minimise work on site too.
How much quicker is NEO vs traditional build
The NEO walls and roofs can be watertight after just two days, saving you weeks vs a traditional build. If the weather is bad this time saving can be more like months, because building with NEO is not weather dependent. Your NEO walls and roof can be built in any weather conditions and watertight within a couple of days, so that if it rains there is no need to wait for everything to dry out.
When will I have to upgrade my NEO?
You should not have to upgrade you NEO home extension, it will last as long as a traditional extension.
Do I need an architect?
You do need an architect to build with Neo as our specialist software will help you visualise your design and take care of all the structural calculations. If you are working with an architect, your builder will still be able to deliver the architect’s design with NEO too.
Why does nobody else know about NEO?
NEO is simply not available to everybody and therefore we do not advertise nationally, so you will not find advertisements for NEO in the consumer press. NEO is instead used by a select network of NEO builders who have been fully trained in NEO technology and methods. We select our builders carefully based on high quality standard of both workmanship and customer service to provide you with peace of mind when you choose NEO.
Do I need planning permission for NEO?
If you require planning permission for your home extension you will require planning permission to build with NEO too.
