NEO technology Explained
The NEO system is powered by Ultraframe’s advanced Ultrapanel* technology, which is used by housebuilders.
Made in Britain, NEO panels, made of steel, timber and high performance insulation and are pre-manufactured and cut to size at the NEO factory in Lancashire. The panels are clipped together with super-strong steels which then forms a super-strong i-beam throughout the wall and roof structure.
Much stronger than traditional brick walls and timber roof constructions NEO is designed to stand the test of time.
Reduced Heating Bills
The insulation within the panels is twice as energy efficient than a traditional brick and block wall meaning that your heating bills will be lower and you can also design large windows, doors or roof lights into your extension without having to worry about heat loss. The NEO panels have a u-value of only 0.14 and the roof as low as 0.13 vs the Building Regulation requirements of 0.27 and because your NEO extension is precision engineered to your measurements there are no cold spots or draughts.
Design options are endless with NEO as you can choose from a variety of roof types and the system is designed to cope with large door spans without the use of steel. You can also choose finish your extension with traditional bricks or render or even use contemporary claddings to create a ‘Grand Designs’ type extension. Thanks to NEO’s high levels of insulation you can also design more glass into your extension, and this combined with the vaulted pitched roofs ensure that every NEO extension is bright and airy.
Super-fast Build times
Building with NEO is five times faster than traditional methods because NEO is completely pre-fabricated, this means that build times can be reduced by weeks, sometimes months. Using specialist software your NEO extension is designed and manufactured in Lancashire and pre-assembled by a team of experts to ensure things run smoothly on site.
Once your base work is finished, your NEO extension is delivered direct to your home and within 2 days the roof and the walls are watertight. Work on both the outside and inside can then start, reducing a 8-10 week build to 3-4 weeks.
Building with NEO creates a lot less mess than traditional builds because there is a lot less brickwork and cement required… plus all the cutting and drilling is done at the NEO factory and not in your garden. You can eliminate brickwork all together if you choose a cladded finish. NEO only requires a small team of builders, so there won’t be a constant team of strangers on your property.
